Improving quality of life and health for Port Arthurians safely, equitably, and sustainably is the goal of the Community In-Power Development Association (CIDA) with support from the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC) and a wide range of Port Arthur stakeholders.  

THRIVE projects are supported by Port Arthur community stakeholders, including:

CIDA Inc. stands for Community In- Power and Development Association Incorporate. CIDA Inc. is a non-profit organization that fights for the fundamental right to breathe clean, unpolluted air. HARC, a 501(c)(3) organization incorporated as Houston Advanced Research Center, is a non-profit research hub providing independent analysis on energy, air, and water issues to people seeking scientific answers. We are focused on building a sustainable future that helps people thrive and nature flourish. HARC’s programmatic and research activities support the implementation of policies and technologies that promote sustainability based on scientific principles.
